I’m Simone from Italy and i’m a Networking Engineer since 2008. I started as a NOC operator where i used to monitor the customer network and help them to mitigate some network issues, apply enhancement and deploy new technologies……fully remote!
For me, that position was a career milestone because i had the opportunity to learn so much about networking basics and applied that concepts all day long. That kind of experience also gave me the opportunity to improve my working position and became a Delivery Networking Engineer with the chance to discuss about new projects from scratch and managed them by myself.
Currently i’m a Senior Delivery Networking Engineer working on sd-access, sd-wan, complex network topology, datacenter networks, with a continuos learning about technical topics that helps me to give the best deployment option to the final customer or my colleagues.
I don’t wanna be the next networking guru, there are so much of them around the world! I decide to publish this blog to share with the community my networking experience and i hope it will be helpful for somebody. I don’t want to bore you again so lets go to the posts and enjoy :)
